ASEAN CONFEDERATION OF WOMEN'S ORGANIZATIONS (ACWO)
 

The ASEAN Confederation of Women’s Organizations (ACWO) serves as the coalition of ten (10) national councils of women in Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. ACWO was founded in November 20, 1981 in conjunction with the reactivation of ASEAN Women’s Program, now called the ASEAN Committee on Women. ACWO is a regional forum for ASEAN women to exchange views, experiences, address issues affecting women and assist in the implementation of programs adopted by the ASEAN governments.

NCWP is the President of ACWO for the Biennium 2006 – 2009.
